Edgar Allan Poe Blog Hop with LeighSBDesigns, Day 2

At first glance this will not look much like a Poe approved project but it is and will be more so tomorrow!  For today this Hinged Card Box SVG by Dreaming Tree has the feather quill pen which makes me think of Poe!  Tomorrow I hope to have its other features ready but time just swallowed me up today and this is what I have!

Most Magical Time of the Year Challenge July with Kate Hadfield Designs!

Santa is having some well deserved down time on a tropical beach so let's celebrate "Sunny Santa" at the Most Magical Time of the Year Challenges for July!  Who better to help us this month than our fantastic friend Kate Hadfield Designs!  Drop in and visit her store and blog for some spectacular designs and ideas!  Kate allowed us some play time with the fun filled kit "Sunny Santa Stamps" and what fun I had!

First step was to color with Copics and fussy cut!  Then I used the "Seashore Double Easel Card SVG" from Dreaming Tree, removing some parts to make room for my Santa and Christmas palm tree.  This made the perfect tropical get away for the two friends to relax and recharge!  Remember our challenges are now "Most Magical Anything Christmas or Halloween Goes" so get your thinking caps on and come join us!

Crazy for Cats with Sheepski Designs for June!

The theme this month at Crazy for Cats is "Christmas Cats" and you may play along with the theme or go Anything Goes with a kitty, of course! We are sponsored by our good friends at Sheepski Designs! 😻  We had the pleasure of creating with image #40 "Mindy"!

I colored Mindy up with Copics and inked the edges with Distress Inks.  I cut a Christmas Tree Gift Tag (a freebie from Dreaming Tree) with the Cricut for Mindy to hang out under!  We all know how kitties love, love a Christmas Tree and destroying a Christmas Tree!😹   All that was left to do was add a bit of ribbon to complete the gift tag!  Now tippy toe on over and get your claws into some glue and bits of paper and play with us at Crazy for Cats in July!

I used the Valentine Tea Light Holder SVG which is a FREEBIE from Dreaming Tree!  I added the Love Text Digi Stamp from LeighSBDesigns for an added Valentine's feeling!💖

October 27th The 31 Days of Halloween with LeighSBDesigns!

 Here we go with Day 28!  I am using a Dreaming Tree SVG freebie Mini Hat Treat Box with a spooky turn!

I took a skull wood cutout and painted it black and topped it with gold glitter paint!  Instead of centering the flower on the top of the mini hat box I put it in the skelly's hair!💀  Another one done and dusted for The 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop presented by LeighSBDesigns!  Deets and linky party are here!  I am also a crypt keeper at The Countdown to Halloween!

October 23rd The 31 Days of Halloween with LeighSBDesigns!

This is my Crescent Moon Halloween Lamp by Dreaming Tree!    I wasn't planning on going anywhere today but I did and I really rushed this one!  Also was trying to watch a movie with Noel while watching Leo do the tutorial so all mistakes are my fault not Leo's!👻

October 14th The 31 Days of Halloween with LeighSBDesigns!

Painfully short post of the front of my Haunted Radio SVG project by Dreaming Tree due to my old gremlin back! 

This come with some cool and creepy features that I will expound on in a later post!  It is a really faboolous project to work on!  I will add this to The 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop presented by LeighSBDesigns!  Deets and linky party are here!  I am also participating at The Countdown to Halloween this year again!

October 11th The 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop 🦇

 How busy are we all right now?  But the show must go on!  Tonight I have a Tootsie Pop holder called Bat Pop SVG by Dreaming Tree!  I asked Noah to pick me up some Tootsie Pops and he looked so baffled I thought I had sprung wings or something!  After a lengthy discussion on whether or not they still existed I convinced him to try to grab me one or some!   He delivered it as if he was holding a unicorn and still declared that they hadn't made them in years! 😂

I inked the edges with white ink and added some glitter cardstock behind the top bat body layer.  The paper was just for a photo background but I thought it was a cool sentiment!  This one flaps his wings to The 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop presented by LeighSBDesigns!  Deets and linky party are here! 🎃 I am also a crypt keeper at The Countdown to Halloween, 2022!

October 7th The 31 Days of Halloween Presented by LeighSBDesigns!

Woke up in one of those can't walk moods so started this project and could not stop!  It's late and my back is screaming so here goes the short version!

This uber funtastic design is by Dreaming Tree and is The Haunted Outhouse SVG!  I was only going to get a start on cutting this one with the Cricut but it consumed me!  Papers used were from stacks of paper and I had a few hiccups like the back ghost blue layer completely disappeared!  Poof!👻  I just cut him out by hand and made his face....sorry, Leo!  I promise to do better on the next spooky project!  Another done and dusted for The 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop presented by LeighSBDesigns!  All the deets and linky party are HERE!  I am also a cryptkeeper at The Countdown to Halloween, 2022!

I love luminaries but have a kinda love/hate relationship with the Cricut! ;)  When it works right I am proud to take the credit and when it messes up I really don't like the fact that it is always my error no matter how hard I try to believe it isn't!  So after an afternoon of a tussle with this one I am glad it is done and that I like it! 👻   This is a freebie design by Dreaming Tree and I do love their products!  The Cats Meow Tea Light caught my eye long before Halloween season was here!  I will be showing some more of their goodies that I have bought as we go along.

Side view, too!  I love living in a small town but when you really need vellum you are up a creek!  So plastic goodie bags with some just right colors were as close as I could get and I backed it with my thinnest copy paper to keep it from being so see through!
