Most Magical Time of the Year Challenge July with Kate Hadfield Designs!

Santa is having some well deserved down time on a tropical beach so let's celebrate "Sunny Santa" at the Most Magical Time of the Year Challenges for July!  Who better to help us this month than our fantastic friend Kate Hadfield Designs!  Drop in and visit her store and blog for some spectacular designs and ideas!  Kate allowed us some play time with the fun filled kit "Sunny Santa Stamps" and what fun I had!

First step was to color with Copics and fussy cut!  Then I used the "Seashore Double Easel Card SVG" from Dreaming Tree, removing some parts to make room for my Santa and Christmas palm tree.  This made the perfect tropical get away for the two friends to relax and recharge!  Remember our challenges are now "Most Magical Anything Christmas or Halloween Goes" so get your thinking caps on and come join us!

I used Charming Snowflake Tag Make a Tag Layered SVG with Christmas Tree Charms and a senti from A Charming Christmas Compendium of Festive Sayings to make this wonderful, glittery tag!  I absolutely love working with Leigh's designs for my Cricut because they are just so easy for me to work with!  Now I know you want to start crafting up some masterpiece for this Most Magical Time of the Year Challenges in June!

Most Magical Time of the Year May Challenge with Mirtillamente!

 Welcome to my project for the Most Magical Time of the Year challenge for May!  We will now be an Anything Halloween or Christmas Goes challenge!  So bust out those haunting Halloween stamps and charming Christmas images and come play along with us!

I used the delicious image Christmas Sweets this time!  Since I am still basically bed bound with a broken leg I have been enjoying creating with Procreate on my iPad.  I colored up this yummy scene in Procreate and added some Christmas lights an ornament and a candy cane for embellies!  I used some candy cane digital paper for my back layer.  Both the paper and embellishments are from Creative Fabrica.  So you decide if you want to spook us or give us Christmas fantasies and get busy creating!  You can even do both!  We love to visit your blog twice and see you projects!  

Most Magical Time of the Year Challenges for March with LeighSBDesigns!

This is my first time posting for the design team of the Most Magical Time of the Year Challenges!  I am super excited!  What could be more exciting than to be sponsored by LeighSBDesigns!  YAY!🎄   Our theme for this month is Magical ATCs!  This is challenge #6 so come join in the fun!

I used Meowy Christmas ATCoin!  I added some glitter hearts leftover from negative space when I cut out the Love Potion Amulet SVG design released for Valentine's 2023!  I love being able to use them to glam up another project!  A little hanger and another heart and this one is ready to hang on my tree! 🤶  We hope you will join us this month at The Most Magical Time of Year Challenges!

October 2nd The 31 Days of Halloween with LeighSBDesigns

 Day 2 and it’s getting SPOOKY 🎃. 

This totally cute, SPOOKtacular kitty banner is an SVG design by Dreaming Tree!  It cut beautifully with just a few Nan errors in the very beginning 👻.  I used card stock from loose sheets to glitter packs!  You can find this design under the title Spooky Banner at Dreaming Tree!  This one is off the 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop hosted by LeighSBDesigns!  All the details and linky party are HERE🧙 !

LeighSBDesigns Challenge #10 Too Cute to Spook!

The excitement begins, the tingle starts up the spine and you walk into the living room and find this!!  You know it is that most wonderful time of the year....Halloween!   Imagine my surprise when I looked up and there was my lovely doll and a spider from Minecraft with a skelly on his back 💀and they are enjoying a Korean dolgona coffee from the Furness Forest!  Well, it happened and after my initial squeal of fright I began dancing around the house shouting "Halloween" 👻  I was so glad this event occurred on the very first day of the brand new Challenge #10 Too Cute to Spook at LeighSBDesigns!  To prove my story, photographic evidence!

Note:  I am about to dispel some of the mystery around this magical happening!  Leigh has some faBOOlous apothecary labels in her new Halloween collection "Shadows Rising" and Set 2 of the Furness Forest Apothecary Labels has this spooktastic Potions label plus 5 more equally creepy labels!  That's all I am saying on this whole amazing matter!  My only question was where is my dolgona?  You guessed it....they forgot!  Well I guess it was trick for me with no treat!  Here's a close up of the awesome apothecary label!

I printed the label on kraft cardstock, fussy cut and inked with Distress Ink.  So easy and so fun to let my imagination run wild for bit!  The wonderful moons are part of the  "Once Upon a Nightmare" Halloween 2021 Collection by LeighSBDesigns!  The mysterious shadow faerie at the bottom leads to this year's collections so visit LeighSBDesigns and get your spook on!

For your treat today I will share the secret of how to make this lovely dolgona coffee!  Take three tablespoons of instant coffee, three tablespoons of sugar and three tablespoons of hot water.  The YouTube viral video said to beat with a whisk for four minutes.  I soon learned a hand mixer accomplishes the delicious foamy mixture a lot faster and easier!  Fill glass with ice, pour cold milk over the ice then dollop the coffee mixture on top and watch the magic happen!  I cheated a bit and added a scoop of ice cream (not healthy nor is the extra sugar I add when not using the ice cream!) to pop the top up a bit to show in the top of the cup.  Delicious!  Come play along at LeighSBDesigns Challenge #10 Too Cute to Spook!
