July 9th Sunday Songs and Rhymes!

Our inspiration poem for July is Summer’s Bed at The Outlawz Sunday Songs and Rhymes Challenge!  I was inspired by the line “And all the skies are blue and clear.”

I created a photo of a dandelion ages ago in Procreate and have wanted to use it for something. So it became a nice setting for a couple of lady bugs and a kitty!  The sky and the soft grass makes me think of summer days when going to bed was time wasted not being able to play on in my younger brain!  Now it screams for bedtime 😂.  So take a nap then get busy crafting some goodies for us to see!  Remember to let us know what inspired you from the poem!  Come play at the Outlawz Sunday Songs and Rhymes Challenge for July!

Paper Dragonfly Creative Challenges for July with LeighSBDesigns!

I adore dragonflies so much!  My yard swarms with them each year is so many magical colors and sizes!  So with a theme of "Dragonflies" at Paper Dragonfly Creative Challenges this month and a lovely sponsor like LeighSBDesigns, you could definitely say I am one happy camper!  My choice of designs for this challenge was "Daisy Dragonfly Digi Stamp" and it is so, so gorgeous!

I am forever jotting down bits and pieces of information about my design teams on whatever paper happens to be about!  Then I promptly loose the said paper and the craziness begins!  Noel bought these little kraft cover notebooks and I decided to get serious about keeping my DT stuff in one place!  What better and more beautiful way to do that than have Daisy Dragonfly to remind me!  I stenciled some raindrops (Stamplorations) with Distress Ink but LeighSBDesigns has some really amazing digital paper packs that were released in the same collection as Daisy Dragonfly that would work wonderfully!  I had run out of colored ink for my printer and sadly, couldn't print out the paper!  I colored Daisy up with Copics, fussy cut and inked the edges with my Pitt Artist Pen before gluing down.  I absolutely love my new planner!  We hope to see you real soon at Paper Dragonfly Creative Challenges!

 

Most Magical Time of the Year Challenge July with Kate Hadfield Designs!

Santa is having some well deserved down time on a tropical beach so let's celebrate "Sunny Santa" at the Most Magical Time of the Year Challenges for July!  Who better to help us this month than our fantastic friend Kate Hadfield Designs!  Drop in and visit her store and blog for some spectacular designs and ideas!  Kate allowed us some play time with the fun filled kit "Sunny Santa Stamps" and what fun I had!

First step was to color with Copics and fussy cut!  Then I used the "Seashore Double Easel Card SVG" from Dreaming Tree, removing some parts to make room for my Santa and Christmas palm tree.  This made the perfect tropical get away for the two friends to relax and recharge!  Remember our challenges are now "Most Magical Anything Christmas or Halloween Goes" so get your thinking caps on and come join us!

Crazy for Cats with Sheepski Designs for June!

The theme this month at Crazy for Cats is "Christmas Cats" and you may play along with the theme or go Anything Goes with a kitty, of course! We are sponsored by our good friends at Sheepski Designs! 😻  We had the pleasure of creating with image #40 "Mindy"!

I colored Mindy up with Copics and inked the edges with Distress Inks.  I cut a Christmas Tree Gift Tag (a freebie from Dreaming Tree) with the Cricut for Mindy to hang out under!  We all know how kitties love, love a Christmas Tree and destroying a Christmas Tree!😹   All that was left to do was add a bit of ribbon to complete the gift tag!  Now tippy toe on over and get your claws into some glue and bits of paper and play with us at Crazy for Cats in July!

Creative Inspiration Challenges for June with Sheepski Designs!

Time to go over to Creative Inspiration Challenges for June where our theme is always Anything Goes and our fabtastic sponsor is SheepSki Designs!  Wow!  What fun there is to be had this month!  So off we go!

 I had the opportunity to play with image 253 "Crackers" 😆  Living in the US I only realized that Christmas crackers were a thing after I started binge watching Acorn TV!  So what luck to have this adorable image to put on a Christmas cracker!  I used a free svg file from The Craft Chop to make the cracker.   I colored the little guys up with Copics and used gold acrylic paint for the confetti and star on their cracker!  Now I know you have a project mulling about in your head and we want you to get crafty with that idea!  Come join us at Creative Inspiration Challenges for June!

July 3rd Monday's Greetings at The Outlawz Challenges!

Up today is a super cute clear stamp set "tracey hey" out by Hampton Art!  It comes with three main characters, a bunch of unique senties and some adorable bits of forest fluff!  Our challenge this time at the Outlawz Monday Greetings is Anything Goes so you guys can go crazy with the creativity!

These stamps really made themselves into my project!  Some Copics and glue and papers and it was done!   I love the sentiment "Wake up, smile & tell yourself Today is My Day!"  What better way to start the day!  Hope to see you real soon at The Outlawz Monday Greetings Challenge!

 

The Outlawz Progressive/Freebie Challenge for July!

Who doesn't love the songs of birds and the sights of them!  My yard has so many gorgeous birdies that visit each season.  One of my favorites is the red bird!  There are so many types of  red birds and I am not sure what type is in my area but I do know they are so pretty!  This month our freebie image to create with is by Sandra!
