December 31st The Outlawz Paper a la Mode Challenge!

Let's Get It Started!  That's the theme for this month at The Outlawz PAM Challenge!  It's the eve of 2023 and after a suitable day and evening of celebration we will all get to the details of life in 2023!  I got this fabulous planner page at Etsy from Mills Media Boutique!   We are not sponsored this month so we used what we had for this challenge.

All I had to do was decorate the page with some goodies!  What fun it was!  I used Winter Stamps from My Cutie Store (on a break right now).  Everything was colored, added and inky dotted in Procreate!  I added all my design team dates for The Outlawz and I do hope you will add our challenges to your planner or calendar this year!  From all of us at The Outlawz Paper a la Mode Challenge we wish you a very Happy New Year! 😊

Baby's First Christmas

So, this is Christmas morning...

everyone is here.

I don't really understand it

cause it isn't very clear,

but Mom and Dad are happy,

there's pretty ribbons everywhere,

lots of things that they call presents

and even paper I can tear.

They keep showing me this new stuff,

balls and books and even soxes...

they don't seem to know how fun it is

just playing with these boxes.

I had some fun with the super sweet image Christmas Deer!  I colored with Copics and highlighted with white and gold gel pens.  I made a vertical easel card following a tutorial by Iced Images YouTube.  I had the sentiment stamp in my stash.  We look forward to seeing your amazing projects for this challenge!  So come join us at The Outlawz Festive Fridays Challenge!

Winter Sparkle Challenge #12 at LeighSBDesigns!

 I have been creating up a storm with the new Winter Sparkle Contemporary Christmas 2022 Collection from LeighSBDesigns!  I absolutely love the digital papers!  I also love the Snowflake Sprite!  The sprites are just delightful!  

I used the Elegant Snowflake Layered Make a Card SVG  for my card base.  I colored Snowflake Sprite with Copics and watercolors and fussy cut out before placing on my card.  I added a bit of gold glitter paint to her wings.  I used sentiment from the very useful A Charming Christmas Compendium of Festive Sayings also by LeighSBDesigns!  So this will be my first entry at the Winter Sparkle Challenge #12 at LeighSBDesigns!  Details and linky party are HERE!

December 2nd Paper Dragonfly Creative Challenges #12 with LeighSBDesigns!

 Is everybody ready for Merry Craftmas??  That's our theme for December for Challenge #12 at Paper Dragonfly Creative Challenges with our uber amazing sponsor LeighSBDesigns Digi Stamps and SVG Cutz!  Of course the optional addition of a dragonfly to the Merry Craftmas theme put you in for the Dragonfly Award!

This cutie with the crafty fingers is Merry Craftmas Sandy Oddleigh Christmas Wreath!  Sandy is such a wonderful image to work with!  I colored her up with Copics and inked around the image with Distress Ink.  I layered her on to some green cardstock and layered that on to the fabulous new digital paper I printed out from the Winter Sparkle Contemporary Christmas 2022 Collection!  This is one of the papers from White Snowflakes Striated Marble 6 x6 paper pack.  I added a wee dragonfly to the corner who is very interested in Leigh's new collection!  Now it's your turn to show us what you can craft up for Merry Craftmas and enter in Challenge #12 Merry Craftmas at Paper Dragonfly Creative Challenges!

December Progressive/Freebie Challenge at The Outlawz!!

 It's the most magical time of the year and it's also time for our challenge to begin for December!  We all had a chance to play with an adorable beer image by Sandra at The Outlawz!  Thanks, Sandra!

I colored the bottle up with Copics and layered with some patterned papers!  I created the sentiment of Cheers in Photoshop!  I added a bit of gold string to make it festive!  We can't wait to see how you use the image for this month!  So grab a bottle and come sit a spell with us at The Outlawz Progressive/Freebie Challenge for December!

 Our delightful poem for our inspiration comes from Susan this time and it made me chuckle!  

What a wonderful bird the frog are!

When he stands he sit almost;

When he hop he fly almost.

He ain't go no sense hardly;

He ain't got no tail hardly either/

When he sit, he sits on what he ain't got almost.

I had a play with Crazy Paw: Froggy (colored version) 😁  I used a fall paper with some of the labels and tag strips.  I printed the first line of the poem out in Photoshop to add to the tag.  Yep, I misspelled wonderful!  It does not have two f's and I was going to change it but it just seemed to fit the poem and this cute little frog and caterpillar who might not be able to spell either! :)   We look forward to seeing your projects at The Outlawz Sunday Songs and Rhymes Challenge!

November 26th Paper A La Mode Challenge with Decosse's Dynamite Doodles!

LeighSBDesigns Challenge #11 Falling Leaves

 Better late than never!  What a month, year, day and/or week it has been!  I have a quick post to enter Challenge #11 at LeighSBDesigns Falling Leaves!

I used the Tangled Maple Leap by LeighSBDesigns!  One of my all time favorites!  I colored up with Copics, fussy cut and inked the edge with my Pitt artist pen.  I used a senti by We Are 3's Itty Bitty Fall set!  I made a card with some papers from Autumn Blaze by Recollections.  I inked all the edges with Distress Ink vintage photo.  I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!  Now off this goes to LeighSBDesigns Challenge #11 Falling Leaves!

Oh what fun it is to have the amazing and talented LeighSBDesigns with us this challenge as our marvelous sponsor!  Thanks, Leigh!😻   Our Monday Greetings Challenge required greeting this time is "Christmas Greetings" with an optional twist to "Add a Santa Hat!"   Your Christmas greeting can be any form of holiday hi...use your imagination! 

The design team got to have a play with the oh, so gorgeous Santa Whiskers!  I used one of the wonderful sentiments from A Charming Christmas Compendium of Festive Sayings which has 17 digital sentiments included!  I use this set soooo much as they are awesome and always at my fingertips!  I made an adaption to the Bi-fold Card found at The Butterfly Challenge!  When I am stumped for a card shape I always hop over there and have a look!  I colored Santa Whiskers with Copics and watercolored around him with worn lipstick Distress Ink.  I made a belly band to close my card and attached the kitty to it adding the senti under his chin!  So much fun!  Take a look at LeighSBDesigns and show some love!   We can't wait to see your Christmas Greeting project at The Outlawz Monday Greetings Challenge!

October 31st Happy Halloween🎃👻💀🕷🦇

 Happy Halloween! 🎃.  We made it folks!  Printer gremlins, internet gremlins and gremlins all around!  

I made the charming Fae Folk Silhouette SVG and Once Upon a Moonlit Night Set SVG and took a photo against some gray cardstock.  Since I wanted to add a sentiment from A Wicked Compendium of Halloween Sayings I imported the photo to Procreate and added a background layer made with a crinkle paper brush.  Then I could add my senti!🧙. That's our inspiration this go round at The Outlawz Sunday Songs & Rhymes!  I used the Dog Tales Too Digital Stamps Set by the awesome Beccy's Place!

I was inspired by the lines "If he has a dog he won't be lonely, And the doggie will have a good home!"  This beautiful sentiment is so true!  My furry pups give so much love each and everyday and never hold a grudge!  We do hope you will come join us and play along on this really fun song inspired challenge at The Outlawz Sunday Songs & Rhymes Challenge!

The saga of the printer gremlin and my doctor's xray machine gremlin continue!  Alas, no back injection or printed images until they decide to evaporate so we roll the best way we can!💀
