My inspiration from this is “The Hag is astride” and this wonderful image from LeighSBDesigns was my immediate choice!  

This is Oddleigh Witchy Poo from 2017 joined by two of This Is Halloween 2023 all by LeighSBDesigns!👻.  The sentiment is from the This is Halloween Slimline Bat with two senties set and the faBOOlous paper is from the This is Halloween Digital paper pack.  So a golden oldie with some brand new youngsters are celebrating The Hag!  I colored and layered everything up in Procreate and love these spooky greens!  Now come join us and remember to tell us what inspired you from the poem! Through the Craft Room Door First DT Project!

 This was supposed to be posted on here Tuesday and silly Blogger didn’t do it’s job! That’s right I am blaming technology and I am sticking to it!  I am super excited to be on the design team of Through the Craft Room Door.   So here is my first project for the TTCRD Challenge which is Anything Goes!. I had the pleasure of creating with ZoZo the Hobo and Zoey the Shih tzu by our sponsor Color of Love!

I colored her with colored pencils and markers and panted the background with watercolor.  I popped the layers up with foam dots and glued ZoZo on the top layer.  The sentiment is a freebie from Stampington.  She is absolutely gorgeous!  I hope you will check out Color of Love and come play with us at Through the Craft Room Door!

Challenge #4 LeighSBDesigns Celebrations!

It's party time as we approach the 5th birthday of LeighSBDesigns!  It's also time for Challenge #4 with a theme of .....Celebrations!  Now be it birthdays, anniversaries, cats, dogs, spring, you name it and you can celebrate it!  So I give you Cats Galore from LeighSBDesigns and sentiment with an added word!

I needed something to elevate my card in the photo box and it seemed appropriate to use one of my favorite author of the wonderful "The Cat Who" series!  I did my own version of a z-fold card and in this pic the fabulous kitties were too shadowed!

Sunday Songs & Rhymes Challenge at the Outlawz!

Our fun and blast from the past song for our inspiration this time is “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!” Our sponsor is Mirtillamente!  I used the fantastically fun image “Paperelle” by Le Gine!

I made a tent card variation card using the directions from Iced Images on YouTube.  The image elements were colored with Prisma colored pencils and fussy cut out before being popped on the front and back page of the tent card.  I used a sentiment strip from the paper pack “Key West.”  I hope you will come play with us at The Outlawz Sunday Songs and Rhymes Challenge!  We look forward to visiting your blogs and commenting on your fabulous projects!

Finale for A Charming Christmas Hop + Challenge with LeighSBDesigns!

 Sadly I haven’t been able to play anywhere near the amount of time I wanted to spend on this lovely Hop and Challenge hosted by LeighSBDesigns with sponsors including Ike’s Art and Lawn Fawn (A big Thank you to the sponsors and Leigh!). But onward looking I must be as I stare down a brand new year and with that in mind here is my Winter Wishes card to all! —

I used the oh so pretty Elegant Snowflake Layered Make a Card SVG Cutz by LeighSBDesigns!  I had some leftover papers from the Elegant Snowflake Ornament Stand and all that glitter just had to go into another snowflake project.  Plus I have a huge pile of negative cuts from the Ornament Stand that includes snowflakes and stars galore!  I did a very simple card with the outer card, inner card (pale lavender) and the outline layer of the snowflake cuts.  I added a sentiment from A Charming Christmas Compendium of Festive Sayings by LeighSBDesigns and free handed a cut around it adding those pretty snowflakes from my stash!  I love it!  This is my final project for A Charming Christmas Hop + Challenge adding in the challenge as it is all Leigh’s designs! 😊. Dec. 28th A Charming Christmas Hop + Challenge with LeighSBDesigns!

I finally got the paper I wanted and some time to work with the awesome Elegant Snowflake Ornament Stand by LeighSBDesigns!  It is a treat to work with and my Cricut was in a happy Christmas mood so all went sooo smooth! 

I made four sections and used the mat and top layer to make my ornament stand and I made two of the large snowflakes for the ornament gluing the mats to the glitter top layer and gluing the two together.  I absolutely love it!  Noel saw me taking the photo and said she loved it so I gave it to her for her pink desk!  Perfect!  I tried to take a video of the ornament gently spinning but I realized I do not know how to edit a video for my blog so that was that! A Charming Christmas and Winter Fantasy!

 I had the pleasure t.A Charming Christmas Hop + Challenge presented by LeighSBDesigns and all the details and linky party are here!  Ito work with Ike’s Art’s Snow Deer last weekend and was going to blog it for Leigh’s A Charming Christmas Hop + Challenge and the Outlawz Festive Friday Challenge Tuesday when it was scheduled for Ike’s World Challenges!!!  What a lot of talk to say I totally forgot to schedule this blog!  So here goes!

I had such fun frosting up this lovely scene with tons of snow glitter!  This one goes to A Charming Christmas Hop + Challenge presented by LeighSBDesigns and all the details and linky party are here!  It also goes to the Outlawz Festive Friday Challenge in the Winter Fantasy category!

The Outlawz Challenges Design Team!

This is my first post for the Outlawz Challenge’s Sunday Songs and Rhymes as a design team member!  I am super excited to be a part of the team!  This one is following inspiration from “Autumn” by Henry Behn.  I used two images by Makenna Kroulik combining them in Procreate.

I have been looking at some gorgeous red leaves that have fallen from some trees along the horse yard when I go out to feed her.  My back has been totally out of whack for almost two weeks so today was the first day I could actually bend over to pick some of them up!  The reds had faded quiet a bit but still oh so beautiful to me!  So in a vain attempt to hold on to the beauty and wonder of this season I glued some on some watercolor paper I had smushed a lot of Distress Inks sprayed with water on.  I added a coat of clear gesso just to the leaves and inked the edge with more Distress Ink.  When it was relatively dry (!) I popped it on foam dots to add to the back layer.  The fabulous designs by Makenna were colored with Copics and the panel edged with carved pumpkin Distress Ink.  I made the sentiment in Photoshop and printed it in deep orange and layered onto cardstock.  The image and sentiment were layered on the leaves with foam tape.  I hope you will come play the challenge with us at the Outlawz Sunday Song and Rhymes Challenge!  It will run through Dec. 11th!

July 12th Christmas in July Blog Hop with Leigh!

Today I have a little guy I worked on intending to use him for the May blog hop.  Time being what it was he just got put on the back shelf and left all alone.  So here is my Poe Panda (a very beginner digital stamp that I made all by myself!)😊  He is all decked out for Christmas borrowing some accessories from Leigh's  A Very Yeti Christmas Festive Add On Pack! 

Poe Panda is ready for the holidays with feather in hand for signing gift tags or penning the odd verse or two while waiting for the big day!   Still  using the stuff I grabbed the other day, I colored the images with markers, adding some sparkles and a big star with some rediscovered Christmas paper.  I am adding my Poe Panda below if anyone wants to grab him!

Dec. 14th Tis the Season Blog Hop with LeighSBDesigns!

 I picked this cute little Mama Elephant stamp and die cut set up Saturday at Tuesday Morning.  It was super cheap (4.99) and I really loved it!  I made a tag using some papers and some mistletoe which much to my surprise I had not mistletoe stamp!   I "borrowed" some foliage from another stamp set I had and with some mowed lawn Distress Ink, shimmer spray, and some confetti I made up a sprig and attached a silver tie ribbon to it.  So now they are happily kissing under the mistletoe!

The Outlawz Sunday Songs and Rhymes "Cats Sleep Anywhere"

 I have wanted to play at the Outlaws Sunday Songs and Rhymes for ages and finally did it!  The poem or song?  not sure, for this week is "Cats sleep anywhere" and my kitty has been hopping on top of the dryer when I put the warm clothes on it.  So the line "In the cupboard, with your frocks-" was my starting point!

This delightful image was given by Angela on her blog Crafting with Jack.  I already had him printed up for Leigh's blog hop when I saw this challenge at the Outlawz Challenges.  I used my watercolor paints to paint him and his lovely bed!  I fussy cut and put the image on some craft foam before gluing him to the patterned paper.  I used a die cut doily to put on each end of the patterned paper before attaching the whole thing to some blue cardstock.  I have an old portable typewriter that doesn't work perfectly so I typed the lines from the poem on a scrap of paper that I stamped some tiny flowers on.  The A key refused to type lower case or upper case so I found my smallest A stamp and stamped it in...a little wonky, I might add!  The ribbon also jumped from black to blue?? no idea how or why but I like the look!  Thanks, Angela, for this lovely image!  I am also entering this into the following blog hop:
