Oct. 27th the 31 Days of Halloween

 

We are staring down the barrel of another hurricane tonight!  I can barely believe it!  This one is possibly going to leave us in the west of its landfall but right now we are just waiting to see who goes to work tomorrow or how it will play out. 

I’m so inspired by all the amazing projects being posted everyday by you fabulous bloggers!  Leigh’s spectacular luminaries inspired me to tackle the Cricut and I have some small luminaries on my work table tonight !  A work in progress so to fill the void here is my Boo! Day 25 of the 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop

My kids are teaching me how to use Procreate on an iPad.  They have not had an easy time of it but I have managed a few things!  Here is my very first accomplishments :)

 This image is by Oddball Art and is CCC124 Ghosts in the Mists.  These ghouls are already worried about the fact that more boos! are on the horizon it seems!  So to calm them down I gave them a good dose of glitter :)  It usually works for me!

This was an image my daughter did for me for Poe's birthday hop this year.  I decided to have a play with it in Photoshop.

I added the beginning of the poem "The Raven" by Edgar Allan Poe.  I used an antique page from Graphics Fairy and a steampunk paper by Dragon's Lair Designs. I am adding the image below if you would like to have it.

Day 22 of the 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop with LeighSBDesigns!

 The month is just flying past and I applaud all the lovely crafters making 31 makes in 31 days!  I hope to post some catch up projects but only time will tell!  When the fog envelopes your city and ghouls and ghosts are creeping, don't panic!  The Batleigh symbol is lighting the dark sky bringing the trio of the Batleighs!  Grimm, Bram and Betsi are ready to save the day and hopefully get paid off with lots of Trick or Treat candy!  If you haven't grabbed them yet check out LeighSBDesigns for a great deal!

October 8th 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop with LeighSBDesigns

 We are storm watching again and this late in the season!  It looks like another bad hit for Cameron, Louisiana but we still are watching the local news for updates in the track.  Too much hot Gulf water and not enough cold fronts to really trust a big one like this until it is practically ashore.  So all of that to say really fast one tonight!

October 6th The 31 Days of Halloween 2020

This super cute kitty and menacing jack o'lantern are by the lovely Ike's Art!   As she always does, Ike generously gave this image as a freebie from the Ike's World Challenges Blog!  This month there is a car being washed by a sexy chick for free so go enter a project, grab your freebie and leave some love for our amazing friend, Ike!

October 5th The 31 Days of Halloween 2020

 Happy Monday and Day 5 of the amazing 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop hosted by LeighSBDesigns!

I used some plastic from a tape package and made a shaker card!  I embossed the ribs on the wonky hearts I cut and used gloss medium for the tiny zombie eyes!  I grabbed some bags of chunky confetti and fine confetti at the Dollar Tree so I had to have a play with it!  I am behind on my blog hopping but I will catch up in the next day or so....really, I will! 😇

 

 

October 3rd The 31 Days of Halloween 2020

You know what panic is?  Of course you do if you are playing in the 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop and realize you haven't posted your project for the day and the witching hour is closing in!  My panic today was a tad different as I got my vase ready to put the black roses in and realized....I had NO black roses! 😱 So I did what all good crafters do; I cried and scrambled for my stash!

After the drama I ended up with this!  I sponged white acrylic paint on the Tim Holtz embossing folder and ran through the machine.  Then I added some red ink around the edges.  The can is painted with red acrylic paint and splattered white and black paint onto it.  I used adhesive tape and craft glue to attach the label to the can.  The black flowers and crow die cuts were in my stash and I blinged them up a bit with the gems.  The skelly head is from the same Holtz's stamp set from yesterday's black cat.

October 2nd The 31 Days of Halloween

Let's get straight to the fun!  It's day 2 of the 31 Days of Halloween with LeighSBDesigns and I have already been amazed at the wonderful projects!  I got painty and a bit inky with this one!

Another found set of stamps I don't think I ever used this one before.  I used Distress Oxides and Distress Inks with a bit of white gel pen.  Some paper and heat embossing and foam dots...all done!  And of course I am playing HERE:

October 1st of The 31 Days pf Halloween Blog Hop with LeighSBDesigns

 It's here!  The most wonderful time of the year!  The 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop with LeighSBDesigns!  This is Leigh's 10th year hosting this SPOOKtacular blog hop and I am sooo excited to get started!  The rules and all the details plus the linky party are HERE so hop over to LeighSBDesigns Inspiration Blog and note a few common sense rules and a no stress blog hop!

And here they are....The Boo Crew featuring Ghost Balleigh Monster and friends???!!  Nope, you are not seeing things!  There are FOUR of these fabuoolous cuties!   I totally got this idea from Leigh's Want Candy project and just had to cook up this batch of Ghost Balleigh Monsters!

I edited the images in Photoshop and colored up with Prismacolor colored pencils.  I added some Golden gloss medium to their cute little eyes.  I printed BOO out and sprayed with wilted violet Distress Oxide Spray.  I used my Dymo label maker to make THE and Crew and gave them a spritz of wilted violet.  I cut slits to slide the finished page into the red cardstock and then attached that to the black cardstock.  The sentiment is on foam tape.  My adorable Poe figure will be presiding over a lot of this month's makes; he is one of my favorite things ever!  Hope to see you for this month of off the hook Halloween fun!
