The Outlawz Monday Greetings Challenge April 25th

Happy Monday!  That means it is time for another challenge for The Outlawz Monday Greetings!  We are sponsored by the awesome Beccy's Place!  

This gal is packed and ready to resume her travel dreams to everywhere!  Of course it is always more fun when you have a travel buddy so she has to send an invite out to her bestie chick!  This cute little chick is from the set "Cool Chicks" along with the fabulous sentiment!  I colored her up with colored pencils and used patterned paper from a travel pad.  The card stands up but the senti folds up to fit an envelope.  I splattered the sentiment with red watercolor to match her purse and shoes!   Check out all of the design team's work and the challenge at The Outlawz Monday Greetings Challenge!

 

Baby Bunny Balleigh Monsters!

I love these little Baby Bunny Balleigh Monsters so much!  I knew they just had to make an appearance during this month's Challenge Celebrations at LeighSBDesigns! 

I used an Easter Card from Craft with Sarah and instantly knew (again!) that these adorable baby bunnies had found a place to hang out!  Baby BunBun has not quiet figured out how to hop into the basket but the others are all giving loving encouragement as he tries!  I printed out the Baby Bunny Balleigh Monster Border that comes in this set and cut apart the individual bunnies with eyes facing the way I wanted them to!  Next I colored with colored pencils and fussy cut leaving a thin white border.  I added patterned paper behind the grass, flowers and bow of the card before slipping the backing in place.  This one is headed to LeighSBDesigns Challenge #4 Celebrations!

Pattie's Creations and The Outlawz Sunday Songs & Rhymes Challenge!

 Today we start a brand new Sunday Songs & Rhymes at the Outlawz!  I chose the poem "The Birds' Bath" by Evaleen Stein.   It is a bright children's poem about a garden pool made for the birds!  There are many things to be inspired by in this poem and I hope you enjoy it!  Thanks to Pattie's Creations for sponsoring us this go round!

I chose this sweet image at Pattie's Creations and it is aptly named Sparrows in Bird Bath!  I didn't color the birdies as sparrows because I really wanted to have them bright yellow against the blues in the card.  I used Prismacolor pencis to color the scene before fussy cutting with a small white border around it.  I did add some Distress Ink in mowed lawn around the grass area.  The card is a center pop up step card (following a tutorial by Iced Images YouTube) with the center area top cut out to fit my image into with the sentiment from a paper pad.  I used another paper pad for the patterned layer on blue card stock.  We hope you will join in the fun at The Outlawz Sunday Songs and Rhymes Challenge!  All the details are HERE!

Super Cute Kitties by Jen L.

Super quick post using a freebie at The Outlawz Challenges by DT Jen L. 😸   I made a center pop up step card from a tutorial by Iced Images YouTube (I modified it).

I colored the kitties with colored pencils and used a sentiment tag from a paper pad!  My modification made this a non-standard envelope size but that's ok with me!  I am entering this in The Outlawz Twisted Thursday Challenge Anything Goes Optional Twist Furry Friends!

Happy Birthday!

Today is the birthday of LeighSBDesigns!  Leigh's Challenge #4 is all about Celebrations!  I am rocking the birthday of LeighSBDesigns with a cute Birthday Cupcake by Leigh!

This is a center pop-up step card (tutorial from Iced Images YouTube) and I used lots of papers from a party paper pad I have and some glue!  The cupcake is colored with Copics and I took some liberties with the inside opening size in order to fit my cupcake.  This will be my second entry in LeighSBDesigns Challenge #4 Celebrations and all the details and linky party are HERE!  There is a wonderful sale going on the rest of today with 50% off most items at LeighSBDesigns!  If you can't make it to the shop today there is a fantastic sale going on the rest of the month!  Check it all out at LeighSBDesigns!

 

Challenge #4 LeighSBDesigns Celebrations!

It's party time as we approach the 5th birthday of LeighSBDesigns!  It's also time for Challenge #4 with a theme of .....Celebrations!  Now be it birthdays, anniversaries, cats, dogs, spring, you name it and you can celebrate it!  So I give you Cats Galore from LeighSBDesigns and sentiment with an added word!

I needed something to elevate my card in the photo box and it seemed appropriate to use one of my favorite author of the wonderful "The Cat Who" series!  I did my own version of a z-fold card and in this pic the fabulous kitties were too shadowed!

A little bit better!  I also used Party Hats by Leigh to add to three of the party cats!  So off these wild and crazy guys go to LeighSBDesigns Challenge #4 Celebrations! All the details and linky party are HERE!

Ike's World Challenges #155 Anything Goes/Optional Include an Animal or Critter!

April is here and so begins a new challenge at Ike's World Challenges!  This is Challenge #155 and the theme is as always Anything Goes/ Optional Include an Animal or Critter!  Whenever I peruse through Ike's Art's images on my computer I get a giggle from the adorable Cubimals!  Here's what I got up to with these critters this time!

The guys an I wanted to make some noise for our fantastic Ike who is the bestest person in the whole wide world to work for on a design team!  I love her art, her heart and her ever generous spirit!  This is a third fold card as shown in a tutorial by Iced Images on Youtube.  I added some bling and foam tape so this one is bursting at the seams so I had to add a clip at the top to take the photos!  When you lift the left hand square you get this....

More a hidden piggy and the person to whom (who?) we are raising the roof for!😸

Some light pink designer cardstocks inked with abandoned coral Distress Ink, glue, foam tape and the critters colored up in Copics with the sentiment and sound effects made up in Procreate then printed out and it was done!  Now let's see what you want to get all gluey and embellie crazy with for April!
