Outlawz Sunday Songs and Rhyme Challenge with LeighSBDesigns!

 Hi and welcome to my project for the Outlawz Sunday Songs and Rhymes Challenge!  This two weeks our fabulous sponsor is my favorite designer LeighSBDesigns!  Yay!  Our inspiration is coming from “Hearts” by Amy Ludwig VanDerwater and you will see quickly where I got my inspiration!

With my past week being filled with a dog bite requiring stitches and my son (and most probably my daughter and myself) having Covid! I had to rely on my trusty IPad and Procreate to help me out!  I am right handed and yep, dog bite on right hand :(  I used the gorgeous Tree of Raggedy Hearts image and the sentiment and star flourish are from the 2019 Valentine Collection by LeighSBDesigns. Using Procreate I added a background from Gecko Galz adding my images that I had digitally colored up.  I added a bunch of star burst in the center of the stars to make sure it sparkled!  I hope you will come play with us and join the fun at the Outlawz Sunday Songs and Rhymes Challenge!

Gothic Raven and Poe Raven Word Font

 The third day of the 7th Annual Edgar Allan Poe Appreciation Blog Hop presented by LeighSBDesigns and I have used the totally spectacular Gothic Raven SVG and the Poe Raven & Classic Word Font Set SVG!  This was really fun to work on and no scissors or makers to try and hold in my hand!

I had no gray papers to work with so I used black, brown, red and a moon patterned black paper and a tiny speck of orange!  I layered everything up and let dry before popping on my background designer paper sheet with foam dots.  I love how it turned out!  The background paper looks like the type of ceilings that were in fashion during Poe’s time!  You can find these two cut files along with two more brand new cut files in the new releases from LeighSBDesigns for 2022 and they are on SALE!  I am playing in the Poe Appreciation Blog Hop so off this goes to that and you can find all the details and linky party HERE!

The 7th Annual Edgar Allan Poe Appreciation Blog Hop presented by LeighSBDesigns!

 It’s the most wonderful time of the year….well, one of the most I do believe!  The Poe Appreciation Blog Hop presented by LeighSBDesigns!  I am hobbling to the party with my stitched up right hand from my darling grandpup Luka’s not so darling bite!  And just to make it interesting Covid has parked on my doorstep with Noah testing positive Monday but I am so thankful he is feeling a bit better today.  Noel, recovering from knee surgery the 30th and myself have been sick with a gastro thingy or my doc says possible Covid but we haven’t ventured out to be tested so feeling very nauseated and ughy but we seem to be able to eat a bit today.  Now that you have heard my excuses it is time to celebrate Master Poe!

I was actually working ahead and had this ready on the 10th!  Maybe as a foreshadowing of things to come I was playing in Procreate and now I am so glad I have this program as one handed I am again!  I made my background using a Raven image in gray added to a marble background.  The Poe image is from Pixabay by Gordon Johnson. Leigh has a wonderful Poe signature with quill (that I have along with all of her other Poe designs on the broken hard drive!) but I used this one from a royalty free source.  I will be grabbing the Poe’s again that Leigh has for sure! I have included a copy of my background if anyone wants to grab one as a Happy Poe Appreciation Blog Hop prezzie!

Snow or Poe January Challenge at LeighSBDesigns!

 Gosh but the times when we are not hopping or creating for a challenge with Leigh just seem to drag by it seems!  But no fears we are back with the January Challenge Snow or Poe (or Both!) and very soon, the 19th to be exact the 7th Annual Poe Appreciation Blog Hop begins!  I am hyped and super excited!  To show my exhilaration for the January Challenge I brought in some help from the party guy himself: Party Balleigh Monster!

This guy knows how to party and celebrate everything!  He loves to sing about the things that make him happy so of course he loves “Let It Snow”!   I used two digital papers from Free Pretty Things For You (Ombré Glitter and Snowflake, both freebies!) and printed out the glitter paper.  I used Procreate to add the Snowflake paper as background and added Party Balleigh Monster Set, the sentiment, and snowflakes for my monster to hold and two for the background from Oddleigh Snowflake Elf and Snowflakes.  I printed that out and another copy of just the monster and fussy cut out the body and hat and sneakers popping them up on foam dots.  While in Procreate I colored up the little darling Party Monster!  Fun, fun and more fun!  This one goes to the Snow or Poe January Challenge presented by LeighSBDesigns!  All the details and linky party are HERE!

Ike’s World Challenges January Anything Goes with Optional Include a Sentiment

Hope you all had a fantastic holiday season and a wonderful start to the New Year 2022!  At Ike’s World Challenges the theme is always Anything Goes but you also have the option to Include a Sentiment!  

I had a ton of watercolor fun with the awesome CatMouse Tree image by Ike’s Art  (freebie HERE At Ike’s Show US your Pussycats cat lover’s Challenge Blog!!) and a 4 dollar metallic watercolor kit!  The only real problem was trying to photograph these lovelies with all the shimmmer going on!  I did a bokeh effect on the light blue background and I really love how it came out!  I went with the Anything Goes option because I had this image printed out for Christmas and just had to use it with the watercolors!  Easy Peasey you choose whether to include a sentiment or not!  I do hope to get a chance to visit your blogs and see your fantastic makes for Ike’s World Challenges #152 Anything Goes with an option to Include a Sentiment!
