December 10th Sunday Song and Rhymes!

I was inspired to create this after reading The Oxen by Thomas Hardy.  It tells of a nativity scene and the oxen bowing down and all bowing down.  It is a scene replayed in my memory listening to the reading of the nativity as a child through my adult years.

This little scene was created using a set precolored by Jo Kavanagh Designs on Etsy!  I have used her images and stamp sets before and I am never disappointed in their quality, value and just their  awesomeness!  The set came with all of these characters, the wisemen and their gifts and the manger, palm tree and star.  Also two backgrounds, this one I chose with the stable, sand, trees and night sky and without stable and 4 papers.  So much for such a totally terrific price!  Please give her shop a visit and see all the goodies for yourself!  (No, I am not on her DT just really love her designs!)

I found this awesome fireplace and mantle on Pixabay and knew my stocking and candle had found a home!  I colored everything in Procreate, printed on glossy photo paper except the fireplace and fussy cut!  Then I had the fun of decorating the mantle!  The little gingerbread man couldn't squeeze into the stocking so he volunteered to keep watch for Santa by the fireplace!   Excuse my light ring glare on this photo please?  These images are just smile and giggle makers to no end!  I hope you will join The Outlawz Festive Fridays Challenge for December for a chance to win an awesome prize!

The Outlawz Progressive/Freebie Challenge for December~

Creative Inspirations Challenges for December with LeighSBDesigns!

Hello, hello and are you feeling creative?  It's time for Creative Inspirations Challenges for December 7th and we are soooo excited to say thanks to our darling friend Leigh at LeighSBDesigns!  Leigh has a brand new Poinsettia and Holly Christmas Collection for 2023 and a two month old new store!  Honestly, since October, Leigh has had so many new things going on and new designs going out it has been really exciting to see it all happen!  And you can keep up with all the lovely happenings by dropping by LeighSBDesigns Inspiration Blog where all the links live and all the challenges and blog hops live, too!  

This gorgeous image is from the Poinsettia and Holly Christmas Collection 2023 and is named Poinsettia Holly Festive Garland Digi Stamp!  This is just amazingly gorgeous!  I also used a digital paper from the Pastel Blizzard Decorative Digi Paper Pack and the sentiment is from A Charming Christmas Compendium of Festive Sayings!  I printed two copies of the garland on top of the Pastel Blizzard paper in blue; one on glossy photo paper and one on cardstock.  I colored the points and insides of my stars with markers (because I forgot to do it before printing!)  😉  I colored the garland on the cardstock copy with Copic and Spectrum Noir Markers before fussy cutting it out and edging with my Pitt big brush marker in black.  The sentiment I printed out on glossy photo paper, too.   I glued the garland on to the glossy photo paper copy and attached that to glitter cardstock.  I also glued the sentiment to glitter cardstock.  This is so marvelously sparkly it brings tears to my eyes!

The Outlawz Monday Greetings Challenge for December with LeighSBDesigns!

Merry Christmas and Ho Ho Ho where has this year gone?  An immediate highlight of 2023 is all of the magnificent new releases by LeighSBDesigns!  Golly but there have been so many and so awesome!  This month at Monday Greetings, Leigh is sponsoring our challenge and we could hardly wait to start creating with this most amazing and PURRfect kitty named Santa Puss Slimline Digi Stamp!    This is the very first image from the brand new Loveleigh Kitties Collection that we will see more of in 2024!  Check out the brand new LeighSBDesigns Boutique for the Poinsettia and Holly Christmas Collection, 2023!

Here is Santa Puss along with Poinsettia and Holly Festive Metal Decorative Digi Paper and A Charming Christmas Compendium of Festive Sayings!  I colored in Procreate then printed out Santa Puss fussy cutting with a small white border left.   I printed the digi paper on glossy photo paper for the background.  I layered my sentiment onto a smaller sized piece of the same paper again in glossy photo paper and popped up on foam squares.  I added some gold flakes to the two corners to accent this amazing metal decorative paper!  This little kitty has captured my heart and I am in LOVE!💖

The Outlawz Monday Greetings for November!

This month at The Outlawz Monday Greetings Challenge we are so thrilled to be sponsored by our dear friend Mirtillamente Craft Shop!  Thank you so much for your support of our challenge! 💖   Please swing by her shop and see all the goodies she has!  I was so happy to create with the super awesome image Verdiana!

I made a wall hanging that would be perfect a girl's room!  I created the background layer in Procreate then added the image to it.  Next step was coloring the cute little fairy, again in Procreate,  with some bright, vibrant colors before adding the sentiment!  What goes better with a magical fairy than glitter cardstock?  Of course I had to use it!  I added a ribbon in one of the colors of her wings to the back of the cardboard that I attached it all to!  Our required greeting this month is ....ANYTHING GOES! 👀👀  How easy is that?!?  The optional twist (which I totally forgot to use so good thing it is optional, right?) is add a heart!  You know you want to create something for The Outlawz Monday Greetings Challenge for November so let's get crafty and busy!  See you soon!

November Creative Inspiration Challenges with All Dressed Up!

It's November and we are ready for  Creative Inspiration Challenges sponsored by All Dressed Up this month!  Thanks so much to them!  I had the pleasure of creating with Christmas Snowglobe!

I colored the adorable image with Copics and Spectrum Noir markers.  I fussy cut and attached to a layer of glitter cardstock and then that went on to some mirror cardstock!  I can smell Christmas and that means sparkle and shine!   Then I hot glued the ribbon on the back for my ornament to hang from!  We hope you will come play with us this month!  We love seeing your creations and visiting your blogs!  So drop those gorgeous creations off at Creative Inspiration Challenges for November!
