Day 30 The 31 Days of Halloween Haunt Hop!

 Happy One Day Away from Halloween!  I hope you’ve been BOO-ed this frightful past 30 days as the 31 Days of Halloween Haunt Hop Presented by LeighSBDesigns!  Today some of my favorite guys are dropping by….the Bizarre Beasties!

These guys are hanging out in the haunted Furness Forest under the watchful eyes of a Halloween moon!  I made a 4 x 6 inch card out of brown cardstock and layered the Wicked Moon Furness Forestscape (colored in Procreate so I could make the bats eyes have some spooky red glowing eyes!) over paper from the Spooky Forest Decorative Digi Paper pack. I couldn’t find the Forestscape image to link but as always Leigh or Val can point you in the right direction!  If you dare to flip open this card you will be confronted by the Bizarre Beasties (colored with markers) and the sentie is from the Wicked Compendium of Halloween Sayings!  All images used are by our hostess with the mostest this month LeighSBDesigns!  You can still come play with us at the 31 Days of Halloween Haunt Hop where all the faBOOlous entries for this month are roosting and the haunted linky party is there, too! 👻

Actually this is The Zombie Scream by LeighSBDesigns but we could be twins!!  I could not find the link for this image but you can give Leigh or Val a shout out below and I bet they will get it to you!  The frame was a freebie but I forgot to label it and the file had no name 😢  The ghostly digital paper behind the lovely zombie gal was a free packet with an order from Dreamflare-Etsy I am pretty sure?

Today I have a pop out page for my book using Catrina Slimline Digi Stamp and senties from the Day of the Dead - Dia De Los Muertos Senties Set by LeighSBDesigns! 

 This type fold card called for a belly band to hold it together but since I was adding it as a page in a book I had to scramble for an idea!  I feel sure I will revise my closure coz this one is wonky weird....my apparent theme for this year!  👻  The patterned papers are from a digital paper pack by Digital Mirabillis - Etsy and I colored Catrina with colored pencils!

First Haunt Hop 2024 excuse headed your way.....Due to a family emergency I had to make tonight's make 1/2 digitally!  I had Carved Skelly Cat the SVG (Help, Leigh or Val, I couldn't find it in the store) all cut out ready to layer on my papers to make one of the pages that I want to have opposite the pages I have made for my book!  That statement will make a little bit more sense when I have a picture to explain it!   But sliding into home I just snapped a pic on a sheet of black paper and used the Halloween magic of Procreate!  TA-DAAAA!  The digital paper I used for the back layer is from Digital Mirabillis-Etsy and I plan on using several more designs from this pack!  The senties are from CAToWeen Senties Set and Halloween Senties Set!

This was a wreath kit that I grabbed on sale after Halloween last year!  I like stuff marked down, that decorates for Halloween and can be made up fast when things get away from me this month!  It was literally an add hot glue project but I did make it so......not my greatest moment this year but

Tonight's post is another quick one after a long day shopping with Noel!  I love Vincent Van Gogh's "Starry Night' and have painted it in acrylics adapting it to fit some of Leigh's lovely images and just to try to follow some of his most inspiring brush strokes!  So when I saw this set of digital images by Nature Sight on Etsy it was just awesome! 

 I printed out one of the images and layered on to some cardstock dabbing some gold acrylic paint around the edges and quiet messily at that!  I printed out one of the senties from the Halloween Senties Set by LeighSBDesigns and wonkily cut around the phrase edging that with the same gold acrylic paint!  Then I glued both on some goodie bags I had and punched two holes closing it with an also wonky bow!   We have a Halloween party every year and I will just open these up (possibly more to come?!?) and add the good stuff!👻

Day 4 The 31 Days of Halloween Haunt Hop with LeighSBDesigns!

Last year I started my This is Halloween Book using the This is Halloween Make a Book SVG Cutz Design by LeighSBDesigns but I think I only posted my cover as I was not too organized at creating the inside bits (Wow! What a surprise, huh? 👽)   The papers are from the This is Halloween Decorative Digi Paper Pack  and I used the Gothic 31 Digi Stamp!  Here is the cover barely fitting in my smallish light box that I have been using!

I am determined this year to make some headway with this creeptastic book!  So what better image to start with than the totally adorable CAToWeen Slimline Digi Stamp from the CAToWeen Loveleigh Kitties 2024 Halloween Collection!  

I colored her up with Copics and Spectrum Noir markers adding some shimmer with a pen to the wings and inside of the ears and some green glitter paint for the band on her hat and her pretty eyes!   I also used the wonderful pumpkin from the Vampire Balleigh Monster Set; this little pumpkin gets used a lot around here at Halloween!  I fussy cut them both out and printed the sentiment from the CAToWeen Senties Set on the same paper as the back layer of my book page.  The book page of course came from the This is Halloween Make a Book SVG Cutz design by Leigh!  I popped the LOVEleigh kitty on foam square and left her wings so they could flap a little 😋  I glued the pumpkin to the background and layered the sentie on some of the same papers also gluing to the background.  I added some green sequins on a dab of Distress Stickles crushed olive? to adhere them down.  I am pleased as Halloween punch with this page and will have more pages and some bits and bobs to add to some pockets coming up this month!   The inspirations are coming in over at the 14th Annual 31 Days of Halloween Haunt Hop so go here to the Main Haunt Hop Post for the Haunted linky party! 👻

Creative Inspiration Challenges with LeighSBDesigns 🎃

 What a splendid fall I am enjoying this year!  The leaves are falling like rain and all crunchy beneath my feet!  Welcome Fall, welcome!   And speaking of my most favorite-test things in the world, our sponsor this month at Creative Inspiration Challenges is LeighSBDesigns! 🤩🥳.  A royal big thank you to our lovely Leigh for all her creative genius that provides us with hours and hours of crafting heaven and for sponsoring our challenge!  We got to have a sneak play with the brand new 2024 CAToWeen Loveleigh Kitties Collection!

Feast your spooky eyes on these glorious kitties!   Be still my little heart!  I played with the witchy Hocus Pocus Slimline Kitty Digi Stamp!😸.  

I colored the kitty with colored pencils using a bit of white acrylic paint for highlights and fussy cut leaving a small border.  Such a glamour puss needed a palatial home so I got the Cricut dusted off and started cutting out the  Raven Gothic Window Layered SVG Cutz design also by LeighSBDesigns!  You know me and shiny and sparkles so I used mirror and glitter cardstock with one plain cardstock!  The senti is printed on a digital paper I created in Procreate and is the CAToWeen Senties Set from the new collection!  Then I popped the adorable Hocus Pocus Loveleigh Kitty and sentie on the marvelous Raven Gothic Window!
