October 8th The 31 Days of Halloween 🎃

 The saying around here is “It’s all a bit of hocus pocus!”🧙. So tonight it’s all about the hocus pocus!

I grabbed a wood veneer cut out (well, a few!) at Michael’s last week.  I loved this one!  I painted with acrylic hobby paints.  I added a bit of sparkle confetti on her socks or stockings!  Easel Peasey and ready to hang up!  Of course these happy feet are heading to The 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop presented by LeighSBDesigns!👻. October 5th The 31 Days of Halloween with LeighSBDesigns 👻

Crazy wild busy day today so I let one of the spiders take over the creative process!  He did a creepy decent project!  Imagine that!

He used the faBOOlous  Oddleigh Raven from Leigh’s  Oddleigh Raven Nevermore Set.  Looks like fussy cutting may have taken a claw off but the Nevermore sentiment was put in a great place to cover it up! 🤡.  The little tombstone is papered then covered with gold glitter paint.  Distress Ink black soot on the senties!  This one goes to The 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop presented by LeighSBDesigns!  All the deets and linky party are HERE🎃!  I am participating at The Countdown to Halloween as a crypt keeper 💀!

October 3rd The 31 Days of Halloween with LeighSBDesigns!

Tonight's project is the second is a series of at least 3 that I am working on this Halloween season.  The second will be posted at Paper Dragonfly Creative Challenges on the 7th so the cart is slightly before the horse!

This design is from the Shadows Rising Halloween Collection for 2022 by LeighSBDesigns!  Shadows of a 100 Spells is such a dynamic and terrific image!  I used Distress Inks (oxides and regular) for the background and used acrylic paints for the spooktastic face and leaves.  The fairies of a 100 spells or fireflies as I call them are also made with acrylic paint.  I will be framing these when I remember to buy the frames and will show the whole series framed at that time!  This is off to The 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop presented by LeighSBDesigns!  All the details and linky party are HERE!👻
