Monday Greetings Have a Magical Birthday!

Many thanks to our awesome sponsor for this challenge Oddball Art!   I had such fun playing with this image Whimsical Crowd of Unicorns & Sprites Image No. 431!

I used almost every colored pencil I own coloring up these little fellows and galz!  I had a bargain stamp pack with a butterfly so I stamped it on green paper then fussy cut the wings to add on the little blue unicorn in the front row!  I fussy cut the image and sentiments that were included in the set and inked everything with wilted violet Distress Ink.  I double stacked the top sentiment on colored cardstock before attaching!  Our greeting this time (projects are required to have a sentiment that reflects the greeting for the challenge) is "Have a Magical Birthday" with an optional twist to add wings!  We do hope to see you at The Outlawz Monday Greetings Challenge!

We were allowed to play with some faBOOlous images!  I used Spooky Cute Bed Sheet Ghosts and  the Creepy Cute Whimsical Halloween Haunted House!  My inspiration was "

This little guy is so cute but would totally scare me if I saw him on my stairs and then he wasn't there! :)   I colored the haunted house with Copics and inked around the yard with Distress Inks and drew in a few friends of this guy coming out the chimney with the smoke!  I colored the ghosty up with colored pencils cause they just pop on kraft cardstock!  I made the senti in Photoshop and cut a little tag and popped both ghosty and senti on the back layer!  Fun!  I do love this time of year! The Outlawz Monday Greetings Challenge for May 23rd!

It's Monday so it must be time for The Outlawz Monday Greetings Challenge!  We are sponsored by the fabulous Oddball Art Co. for the next two weeks!  I have been a collector of Oddball Art digital stamps for years and years and I love them!  I was so excited to be able to have a play with this fantastic image "Music Festival" CCC#115 from the Creepy Cute Chronicles!  Check out how you can receive these BOO-tiful images each month at Oddball Art Co. 👻

I colored up the image with colored pencils and fussy cut leaving a thinish white border.  Then I glued it onto a pale pink piece of patterned paper with a tropical fruit border around it.  I cut out random pieces of fruit, stars and dots and glue around the frame!  I added the senti and inked the edges with Distress Ink adding some dots around it and I am ready for some summer music and fun!  Come on in and sit by the air con with your crafty goodies and play with us at The Outlawz Monday Greetings Challenge!

Hop: Oct. 2 Catch Up

Having issued myself a challenge to have a project for all 31 days of The 31 Days of Halloween Hop + Challenge hosted by LeighSBDesigns, my little fingers have been getting inky, painty and gluey big time!  This one is another journal page using CCC#23 Haunted House by Oddball Art! 

I used foamies, stamps by Viva Las Vegas, Dylusions and Butterside Down Stamps.  I also added a leftover bat from Leigh's Gothic Nightmare Catcher!  The menacing eyes at the top are negative cuts from my layered cat.  I popped the haunted house on some paper inked and run through the eyes embossing folder from  my stash!

 While I am pup-sitting today I have been playing with Procreate.  This little Witchy Silhouette image by Ike’s Art  is one of my every Halloween go-tos cause it is just vintage Halloween to me! Ike is having to reload the store after Zibbet switched owners but stay tuned for the new links to the store. However, this is one of many FREEBIES at Ike’s World Challenges blog kindly given by Ike!  Paring the super cute witch with her kitty with a faBOOlous image by Oddball Art seemed to be a great match! 🐈‍⬛ 

 I sparkled it up a bit with some luminous brushes🎃.  Gotta love sparkle and glow this time of year!  The background was from me just goofing around with colors and brushes a year ago!

HOP: Oct. 11th The 31 Days of Halloween 2021

I have been having a play with Leigh's Once Upon a Moonlit Night Colourize It SVG Cutz  from her new Halloween Collection "Once Upon A Nightmare" 😍  I also had a super fun time with Oddball Art's Ghoulish Garden Digi #144 from the Creepy Cute Chronicles!  And before I forget I am also a crypt keeper at the 2021 Crypt Keepers Countdown to Halloween!

Helping me again this year is my favorite little guy my Poe POP! Edgar Allan Poe (&friend!)  I had some canvas paper with some leftover blues, purples and black from my palette that I had just roughly laid down.  I cut the spooky moon from Leigh's set and the clouds and painted over them with some white and green glow in the dark paint.  The ghoulish garden was colored up with Copics along with the two cutie pie bats and sentiment.  I inked everything up with Distress Inks and added some glow in the dark paint on the bats, skulls, bones and added a bunch of glowy stars!  Big reveal.....

Yeah, I know....I really wanted that to be more spectacular but with my photo skills in the dark bathroom we really couldn't expect too much more, could we??? ;)  But in person it strikes shivers down my spine!  Little Poe is taking this to Leigh's totally spooktacular 31 Days of Halloween Hop +Challenge hosted by LeighSBDesigns!

August 11th Steampunk Serengeti Blog Hop with Leigh!

 So you ever run across an image or images that you had totally forgotten about?  We all know I do ...all the time....over and over again!  I loved this little Steampunk Octopus Freddie "Legs" Wise-Key #250 by Oddball Art and the Grunge Lace #342!  Every time I browse at Oddball Art I am drawn to this octopus!  Imagine my surprise when I found him on my Ipad today! :)

I played with this in Procreate while a storm was brewing up outside.  So far lots of thunder and no rain but we had, and I estimate, 40 days of rain every day from mid June till August.  It was wonderful for my tomato and pepper plants but the humidity was overwhelming.  Then the possum ate my tomato plants but that is another story for another day!  Freddie er I mean Legs is going to visit the Steampunk Serengeti Blog Hop presented by LeighSBDesigns!  All the deets and the linky party are HERE!  So come on and play a bit with us!

  Huge Jimmy Buffett fan and who doesn't like a fruity, fun cocktail?  Of course, the virus stopped our trips to the resort and game arcade where we loved to play and I am still not risking going out so this cocktail is the closest I can get to Margaritaville fun!

This was the MEMBERS EXCLUSIVE JUNE 2020 Creepy Cute Chronicles "Hello Summer" at Oddball Art..  Again I colored on kraft paper with the Prismacolor colored pencils, fussy cut the elements and glued onto some patterned paper and popped the sentiment on some more paper and attached with foam.  I added the first panel to the same patterned paper and was all done!   I am off to bed!  Sweet dreams of the Summer Buzz Blog Hop!
