The Outlawz Pam Challenge for October with Decosse's Dynamite Doodles!

I fell in love with this gorgeous glowy pumpkin scene and knew I wanted to make a framed canvas to display in my fall decorations!  I used the scene, a green canvas background, the fabulous frame and a flower element with a filigree element on top of it.  I printed this on glossy photo paper in order to get all the glow from the scene!  I absolutely love this!  We hope you will join us at The Outlawz PAM Challenge which is now named Anything Goes in a Card Free Zone!

I colored up the lovely flowers and hearts image in Procreate then printed out.  I stamped the wonderful little bird from Lost Coast Designs Rubber Stamps and colored with Copics before fussy cutting.  The sentiment stamp is soooo old and from one of the craft store dollar bins but I still love it!  The some bits of glue, foam dots and cardstock for the back layer and it was done!  We look forward to seeing what you create with this delightful image this month!  So grab those crafty bits and we will see you at The Outlawz Progressive/Freebie Challenge for September!

Creative Inspiration Challenges September with Kate Hadfield Designs!

September is here which means October and the possibilities of some cool weather is near!  But we can't get too cool too fast because our fantastic sponsor Kate Hadfield Designs is here! 💘   She has given us a play with the absolutely delightful set "On the Beach" 😎

I took three ATC size canvas sheets and painted some groovy, wavy backgrounds!  I colored the images from the set in Procreate and printed out then fussy cut.  I created my senties in Procreate and attached with on a layer of cardboard before gluing on my cards for some depth.  Hope you are enjoying your weather for August with some beach fun and that you join us at Creative Inspiration Challenges!

Anything Goes in a Card Free Zone for September!

We've done a bit of rebranding at the old Paper al la Mode Challenge at The Outlawz!  Our fun new name is Anything Goes in a Card Free Zone!  So no cards but everything else is fair game!  Come join in the fun!  This time we were using a theme of "Books, magazines, newspapers" for the design team to follow.

 

My mind went to one of my favorite craft material old book pages!  I love old books and think the world needs more!  I love the look and smell of books I can hold in my hand!  This time I used an old dictionary that had fallen apart.  I tore the pages and glued onto a little container that looked perfect for desk odds and ends!  After gluing I took Distress Inks and inked in reds, oranges and purples.  I was going to leave it as it was but decided to put some red metallic letters on the front!  I love how it turned out!  Now it's your turn to play at the Anything Goes in a Card Free Zone Challenge at The Outlawz!  See ya soon!

Sept. 3rd The Outlawz Sunday Song & Rhyme Challenge!

Our inspiration comes from this delightful poem:

Living in the deep South my thoughts are on those cooler breezes that fall weather brings so my inspiration came from "Now the Autumn has begun."

I have a pack of gorgeous fall papers and I have been excited to use them!  I made a simple card using two of the papers and one of the sentiment cards included in "Cottage Flowers" by Recollections!
