Finale for A Charming Christmas Hop + Challenge with LeighSBDesigns!

 Sadly I haven’t been able to play anywhere near the amount of time I wanted to spend on this lovely Hop and Challenge hosted by LeighSBDesigns with sponsors including Ike’s Art and Lawn Fawn (A big Thank you to the sponsors and Leigh!). But onward looking I must be as I stare down a brand new year and with that in mind here is my Winter Wishes card to all! —

I used the oh so pretty Elegant Snowflake Layered Make a Card SVG Cutz by LeighSBDesigns!  I had some leftover papers from the Elegant Snowflake Ornament Stand and all that glitter just had to go into another snowflake project.  Plus I have a huge pile of negative cuts from the Ornament Stand that includes snowflakes and stars galore!  I did a very simple card with the outer card, inner card (pale lavender) and the outline layer of the snowflake cuts.  I added a sentiment from A Charming Christmas Compendium of Festive Sayings by LeighSBDesigns and free handed a cut around it adding those pretty snowflakes from my stash!  I love it!  This is my final project for A Charming Christmas Hop + Challenge adding in the challenge as it is all Leigh’s designs! 😊. Thanks for another fab hop and challenge, Leigh and Val!

Dec. 28th A Charming Christmas Hop + Challenge with LeighSBDesigns!

I finally got the paper I wanted and some time to work with the awesome Elegant Snowflake Ornament Stand by LeighSBDesigns!  It is a treat to work with and my Cricut was in a happy Christmas mood so all went sooo smooth! 

I made four sections and used the mat and top layer to make my ornament stand and I made two of the large snowflakes for the ornament gluing the mats to the glitter top layer and gluing the two together.  I absolutely love it!  Noel saw me taking the photo and said she loved it so I gave it to her for her pink desk!  Perfect!  I tried to take a video of the ornament gently spinning but I realized I do not know how to edit a video for my blog so that was that! I am also entering this at the Outlawz Twisted Thursday Challenge where the theme is anything goes with an optional twist of Snowflakes/Water Droplets and I went with Snowflakes!

The Outlawz Sunday Songs and Rhymes Challenge

The poem we are getting our theme from this fortnight is titled New Years Wishes and I choose to take my theme for my card from the first line “ What shall I wish you?”  Out sponsor this month is Alex Syberia Designs and I just love this gorgeous pine cone and holly frame!

I used pastel cardstock for my layers and printed the image out on blue.  I colored the image with Copics and added the sentiment from a wreath by Alex Syberia Designs!  Check out all of their delightful images HERE! I do hope you will join us at The Outlawz Sunday Songs and Rhymes!  You have until January 8th to play!

More Christmas Hop Fun!

I have been lost in the Christmas preparations!  Noah will be working for Christmas and Christmas Eve so we had our Christmas this past week so we could eat, sleep, watch movies and play with the new PlayStation 5!  So I have realized I made two projects and forgot to blog them separately for Leigh’s A Charming Christmas Hop + Challenge!  Not to be defeated here they are!

 

This was a design team make for the Outlawz Sunday Songs and Rhymes Challenge and is using an image by Alex Syberia.

I took two Scribbles Designs and made a Warm Winter Clothing project in Procreate!  I love creating snow piles and snow swirling through the air!

A Charming Christmas and Winter Fantasy!

 I had the pleasure t.A Charming Christmas Hop + Challenge presented by LeighSBDesigns and all the details and linky party are here!  Ito work with Ike’s Art’s Snow Deer last weekend and was going to blog it for Leigh’s A Charming Christmas Hop + Challenge and the Outlawz Festive Friday Challenge Tuesday when it was scheduled for Ike’s World Challenges!!!  What a lot of talk to say I totally forgot to schedule this blog!  So here goes!

I had such fun frosting up this lovely scene with tons of snow glitter!  This one goes to A Charming Christmas Hop + Challenge presented by LeighSBDesigns and all the details and linky party are here!  It also goes to the Outlawz Festive Friday Challenge in the Winter Fantasy category!

Merry Christmas from Ike’s World Challenges!

 I cannot believe it is already  December 21st!!  Where does the time fly away to??  But it is and it is time for the midway post for Ike’s World Challenges #151 Anything Goes with an Option of Fur/Feathers!  I finally got to play with Ike’s Art’s lovely, gorgeous Snow Deer!  The background image and each deer come in separate jpg and png format and an image of the whole scene is included.  So lots of ways to use this wonderful set and I intend to use it a whole lot!

I colored and cut the mama and baby deer out and just barely dusted the sky area of the background with a Prismacolor colored pencil.  Before popping the lovelies on with foam tape I splashed glue wildly about and then came a flurry of glitter snow!!  It is the closest I ever get to snow so I play with abandon in my imagination!  I did spritz the back layer of light blue cardstock and the background image (before glittering!) with some Distress Oxide Spray.  The sparkle factor on this one is amazing in real life!! 

As you can tell I am so excited and a twitter with glee hoping you will come add your project be it Anything Goes (how easy is that) or show us some feathers and or fur!  We will stop our holiday merry making to dash through the snow to your blog and leave you some Christmas cheer!  We all hope you have the merriest of Christmas and happiest New Year ever!

The OutLaws Sunday Songs and Rhymes Dec. 12 - 25 🎄

 Christmas by John Betjeman is our poem for the next two weeks at the Outlawz Sunday Songs and Rhymes Challenge!  The whole poem is on the Challenge page HERE and is filled with decorations and all the wonderful Christmas traditions we enjoy but points out the real meaning of Christmas for many of us.  I am using an image and sentiment by Alex Syberia Designs and I am such a fan of these marvelous images!

I combined one of the images from A Vintage Collection Warm Wishes and the sentiment from Christmas Tree 2 in Procreate.  Using Copics everything was colored and layered on cardstock and designer paper with some twine. I used some foam tape to give it some dimension.

Scribbles Designs and Warm Clothing!

I haven’t played at Scribbles Designs Challenge is forever but I am back for #105 Warm Winter Clothing!  I used two freebies  #191 Snowboots and #F 104 Santa’s Hat in Procreate to make a digital frosty card!

I enjoyed the swish of cold that flew around in my head while working on this!  Not too much cold air down here and no snow ⛄️.   Oh well, for a few seconds I felt a shiver!

Dec. 3rd A Charming Christmas Hop + Challenge with LeighSBDesigns!

After an extended no crafting break imposed by my back, I am literally limping into the first day of the December Hop and Challenge hosted by the lovely Leigh!  Today’s project was my last attempt at crafting in November and it is simplistic but sweet!

Ingredients:  Santa Whiskers and a spare snowflake and little shape that looked like a heart to me from my pile of negative cuts from the Slimline Elegant Snowflake Lace Cutz all by LeighSBDesigns! Wonky tag cut from cardstock, Nuvo Shimmer Pen, Copics, gold twine.  The sentiment is one I made in Procreate and I only had to do that because I lost the Meowy Christmas ATCoin with Leigh’s swap label in the computer disaster!  It is ready to print out with the sentiment with no sizing and playing around in Procreate which really only took a few minutes!  But there you go! You can do it either way!
