Naughty or Nice At Ike's World Challenges This Month

February is here and we are being  Naughty or Nice and as always Anything Goes at Ike's World Challenges!  Fun to be had for one and all!  I took the Naughty or Nice route and went a little bit off track!  Ike's Art, of course, has some wicked cool slightly naughty images but when I saw these darlings I was smitten!

 Mousie Munch Set  had me smiling at first sight and how naughty are these little ones being?  I colored them up after catching up on one of my Kit and Clowder coloring classes getting so much inspiration for Alyce's background and mice.  I totally lost my perspective on the background and have about six different light sources on the toaster but I am learning and that's what counts!  The mice are colored using Prisma colored pencils and the background is a free for all with Koi Watercolors, markers, Inktense Color Blocks, paint pen and probably the kitchen sink!  This is my first page of my art journal book for 2020.  My goal is to work towards a page a day but we know me......a page a week will be ample for me!

Some strange love is on the books for today!  I used the following images:  Skull Trio by Ike's Art (grab this freebie when you browse!) and Skull Roses Collage and Dark Sentiments 2 by LeighSBDesigns (now on sale!) 😊  I used my Koi watercolors for the background and skull trio.  Using tape around the image gave me a nice white line when I removed the tape after drying.  I popped a second sentiment and skulls on some pop dots and layered on black cardstock.  A little black ribbon bow and all done!

I took a sentiment that we usually think of as being a lovely expression of, wait for it.....Love! and put the other, darker side of it to use.  You stole my heart...stealing a heart and let's say breaking it is bad and pretty dark!😈

I roughly colored in the heart background with practically every shade of blue in my Prisma colored pencils!  I sprayed Bahama Blue Fireworks on the wings of a copy of the fairies and the Scratched Heart Background then fussy cut and used pop dot leftovers to make them hover over the background.  Some cardstock layered up and they are ready to spread some magic....dark or happy? we will have to wait and see!

I used one of the free images and colored with colored pencils.  I used a Hampton Art rubber stamp for the sentiment.  I was only going to color only a few spots on the image but the colors got the best of me and I used one from each color!  Fun, fun 😊!  Remember to check out all the details HERE!
