August 7 - 20 at The Outlawz Sunday Songs and Rhymes is being sponsored by LeighSBDesigns and our inspiration song is Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas by Sam Smith! I was inspired by the title of the song which makes me think of how much I love the holiday season! To help me share this yule tide joy is Oddleigh Poinsettia Elf with a sentiment from A Charming Christmas Compendium of Festive Sayings!
I colored the gorgeous Oddleigh Poinsettia with Copics and layered her on some patterned paper then layering on a Gelli print paper embossed with a poinsettia embossing folder! Then to add some shine I used a green metallic sheet for the base! I printed the senti out and inked the edges with Distress Ink and popped on foam dots! So I am in such a Christmas mood right now!
