I have been having a stalled mojo for sometime now....and after much thought and some of them pretty neat thoughts! 😜 I sat down to implement some or one of those thoughts! I was desperate! Now did I find my mojo and make my ideas come to life? Not even a little bit! But what I did find was the pure pleasure of cutting and tearing papers and sponging and flicking paint! I had myself some child's play crafting and enjoyed every minute of it!
This piece of 12 x 12 inch designer paper caught my eye as I was thinking so hard on the ocean. If you don't look too closely you can't tell it is actually flowers! It seemed wavy to me and with some white tempura paint sponged on over a torn piece of cardstock it became waves 😁. Then onto some coral and some seaweed all cut from some scraps of paper I had then sprayed with a tea shimmer spray for the coral and flicked (my green spray clogged sadly) with green shimmer spray. I glued the coral at the bottom then arranged the seaweed behind and in front of it. The torn cardstock with the white edge became the perfect sand for the bottom of the sea adorned with lots of little glass beads!
Those fabulous fishes are from the Tropical Fish Set and the lovely seahorse (from the Sea Life 12 piece set) are of course, courtesy of Ike's Art! And if you have been checking out this month's challenge you will know that the cute seahorse is a FREEBIE on the blog! I colored them all up with my Soucolor markers and fussy cut (as best as the old eyes would let me!) them out to swim among the seaweed and water. I found some awesome little plastic domes? haven't a clue what they are called, but they made super cool bubbles!
We hope you are getting your work space all messy and fun so you can join us! And don't forget to check the Facebook group out for the Progressive Challenge that is in "progress" right now! And of course get those felines ready for the Show Us Your Pussycats Only Challenge! Just don't let them see my fishes!
WoW ! That is excellent. Superb cutting and sticking and I love how you put this scene together. Such lovely crafting fun :-D Thank you very much for whipping up your Mojo to make this for me at IWC.
