October 5th The 31DOH Blog Hop with LeighSBDesigns!

This one is my DT project for Val's Creative Inspiration Challenges and I wanted to blog it separately for the blog hop.   Here is my shaker Artist Trading Coffin!

Shaker Frames ATCoffins SVG

 I colored the image in Procreate and printed out the front and the back label.  I cut the Shaker frame with the Cricut and cut the piece of acetate with scissors.  Then I layered it up after adding a sparse amount of sprinkles to keep from cover up the wonderful image but most of that stuck to my foam tape so not a lot sprinkles to shake!  All the details and linky party for the 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop presented by LeighSBDesigns is HERE!  I am also a Crypt Keeper at the Countdown to Halloween!  Check out the SPOOKtacular sale at LeighSBDesigns, too!

October 4th The 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop with LeighSBDesigns~

This year is the 30th anniversary of The Nightmare Before Christmas!  So in celebration I followed the Art Sherpa’s tutorial on her fan art of Jack Skellington 💀.  I did one of Jack and Sally last year I think and here it is!  And here is this years labor of love!  Ok, in the interest of transparency I could not find the painting and I had just seen it this morning!  So at least we can all have a good laugh about it!  Now onto this years!

Both were painted with acrylic paint on canvas sheets the first on 9 x 12  the new one on a 6 x 8 canvas sheet.  Why I didn’t paint these on stretched canvases I do not know!  Maybe thinking easier and cheaper to frame?  Who knows how my mind works 🤣.  So pop the movie in the Blu-ray player and pop some popcorn and have a creepy nightmare in!  All the deets and linky party are at The 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop presented by LeighSBDesigns HERE 🎃. October 3rd The 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop with LeighSBDesigns!

I am giddy with excitement today!  I have looked forward to working with this design since I first saw it!  It is the This is Halloween Make a Book SVG from the brand new This is Halloween Collection by our extremely faboolous LeighSBDesigns! 👻

I cut the cover and cut and extra layer of the back with the letters out of thin piece of cardboard.  That was painted black.  The front layer was printed using a page from the This Halloween Digital Paper Pack.  I inked the edges of the mat layers with black soot Distress Ink.  Then I printed the Gothic 31 Digi on paper from the This is Halloween Digital Paper Pack and layered it all up!  I plan on adding a bunch of pages using the accordion fold spine like Leigh did on day 1 of the blog hop in her amazing book!   You can find all the details and the linky party at The 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop presented by LeighSBDesigns!  I am also a Crypt Keeper at The Countdown to Halloween!  Check out Leigh's new store and the Etsy boutique for a can't be missed SALE!  You will find the brand new This is Halloween Collection and the Poinsettia and Holly Collection!  Both are on sale, too!

October 2nd The 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop presented by LeighSBDesigns!🎃

  Happy day 2 of the SPOOKtacular 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop presented by LeighSBDesigns!  Today I have the Incy Wincy Spider Slimline Coffin card to show you!

I colored the delightful image up with Copics and used the Slimline Coffin Shaker Make a Card SVG to frame the fellows!  I didn’t make a shaker card out of this one this time but one is coming soon!  I cut the top frame layer out of a paper from the 31 Days of Halloween Digital Paper Pack.  I printed it on photo paper before cutting to keep it shiny like the mirrored cardstock layer.  The senti is from  the Oddleigh Ghost Monster Set!   So many new goodies to play with!  This was my project for The Outlawz Monday Greetings Challenge, also.  All the details and linky party for the 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop presented by LeighSBDesigns are here!  I am also a Crypt Keeper at the Countdown to Halloween, 2023!  Check out Leigh’s new store and the Etsy boutique for some SPOOKtacular sales!

Day 1 of the 31 DOH with LeighSBDesigns 🎃

It’s finally here!  Day one of the 31 Days of Halloween presented by LeighSBDesigns is HERE👻

My first entry is my project for The Outlawz Sunday Songs and Rhymes Challenge with the inspiration poem being The Hag by Robert Herrick.  And I think you will understand why the line “The Hag rides astride” just screamed for this image!

Yes, this is Oddleigh Witchy Poo from 2017 riding in on some gorgeous digital paper from the 31 Days of Halloween Digital Paper Pack with a faBOOlous sentie from the This is Halloween Slimline Bat Digi Set all from the This is Halloween 2023 Collection by LeighSBDesigns!  She looks amazing doesn’t she?  Everything was colored up in Procreate and layered together.  All the details about this most wonderful 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop are here 👽☠️.  I am also supposed to be a crypt keeper at The Countdown to Halloween, 2023!  I need to double check that!
