Using the awesome Meowy Christmas ATCoin with free ATCoin Swap Label by LeighSBDesigns, I made a Christmas tree ornament!  I used the same Crayola glitter paint set that cost just 2 dollars!  I have had more than my money's worth in enjoyment playing with this set!  I fussy cut my colored kitty (Prismacolor) and then cut out the ATCoin with the sentiment.  I die cut the back circle using my brand new die set from Oozak using my gift card that I won at the Outlawz Challenges last month!  After painting the first copy of the ATCoin and adding the glitter I adhered the fussy cut image and added the white gel pen dots on the sentiment and the eyes.  I used white acrylic paint to fluff up the hat and then used Golden gloss medium to add sparkle to the eyes and hat!  Thanks for a wonderful hop by our fabulous Leigh and for tons of inspiration by the marvelous blog participants!  After totally missing the deadline for the Christmas in July Blog Hop I am so happy to link this little cat up to the Festive Friday Challenge at the Outlawz Challenges!  I am of course celebrating Christmas with my little Meowy Christmas ornament.  Join the Outlawz Challenges!  They are super awesome!

July 25th Outlaws Progressive Freebie Challenge and Christmas in July Blog Hop

I received this wonderfully cute image "Gingerbread Treat" by Twinkle Lane Designs for the July Progressive/Freebie Challenge at the awesome Outlaws Challenge!  This was a delight to color with my Prismacolor colored pencils.
I inked the edges with salty ocean Distress Ink and layered it on some canvas paper that I had plopped some acrylic paints from my palette on to keep from wasting them!  I added some acrylic silver paper towel tube circles with some old credit card to make some lines.  I added white acrylic paint to the snowflake and dots on the cup with a bit added on the fluffy pink marshmallows!   And there you have it a ready to send Christmas card in no time flat!  I am also playing along with Leigh's Christmas in July Blog Hop so of course this little guy is popping in there!

Ike's World Challenges S ...Show Us Xmas/Anything Goes

We are at the midway mark for Ike's World Challenges # 134 and S is for Show Us Xmas or you can play Anything Goes!  We love it all!  Don't forget to check out the awesome freebie Ike has shared with us and leave her some love for being the fantastic artist she is! 💖  Now here is my humble offering for this month's challenge!
I have been seeing so many great fold cards that I had to try it even though I am really not a card maker.  But off I went and folded and refolded to build a base for the Stable (this comes with a door also) and the 3 Kings ( I searched for this to link directly to it but I missed it somehow so linked to the store).  I colored everything up with Spectrum Noir markers and added some paper and the sentiment to the bottom base.  It ended up a little wonky but I still like how it turned out!  Now it's your turn to show us some Christmas fun or Anything you want!  We love visiting your blogs and seeing the fab projects!

I am also entering this in Leigh's Christmas in July Blog Hop and the details are right below!

I made the backgrounds with Inktense blocks and Gelatos with white acrylic paint stamping.  The coloring was with the Inktense, too,  New make tomorrow....if my body is cooperating!  Night!

This cute image is by Tiddly Inks.  I colored them up with Spectrum Noir markers and I added the silver sparkle snow with a Crayola paint mix set!  The background of my journal page is a layer of music notes stamped with glue and Perfect Pearls dusted.  For layer two I added yellow from the Crayola set and topped with silver glitter from the set.  Layer three consists of a golden spray from Lindy's followed by Gelatos.  I used silver acrylic paint to stamp the stars for the final layer.  Then I glued the darling sheep on top!  Hope to catch up tomorrow with posting and admiring your lovely works!

June 11th Christmas in July

Link up your Christmas and Winter themed makes using LeighSBDesigns Art Stamps or any other stamp company products in the Blog Hop Linky Party below for the chance to win a fabulous digi prize from LeighSBDesigns!  Linky closes July 31st at midnight pacific! Click HERE for the details and to link up your project!   I missed a few postings with this blasted headache so I wanted to show an oldie but goodie using Oddleigh Poinsettia Elf and Snowflakes by LeighSBDesigns!
I printed a large image and cut the poinsettia out and colored with Spectrum Noir markers.  I colored  the little elf with markers and fussy cut.  I used one of the large copies of the poinsettia as a stencil.  Red paint  and some gold paint splatters finished the tag background.  Click HERE to check out the Christmas in July Blog Hop!

July 12th Yet- It Snow, Yet- It Snow, Yet-It Snow!

Click HERE for the details and to link up your project!  When my head wasn't hurting double time, I kept thinking about the adorable Yeti and his snowy home!  This led to humming Let it Snow and that led to it becoming Yet- It Snow!  I know, with this twisty turny brain of mine no wonder it hurts!
This wonderful Yet scene is part of LeighSBDesigns Yeti collection!  Add ons, and sentiments galore!  I used the Winter Yeti Build-a-Scene set for my journal page.  I played with wilted violet, broken china, salty ocean, and chipped saphire Distress Inks using a stencil and then sponging through it with a wet paper towel.  I couldn't find my sponges :(  I colored up the image I had layered in Photoshop with Prismacolors and fussy cut before gluing to my dry page.  To add some snowy accents I sponged (cut off the tip of a Distress Ink sponge) Liquitex iridescent medium through some die cut waste cardboard and added some star shine with a white gel pen.  I printed the sentiment three times and inked.  Click HERE to go to the Christmas in July Blog Hop!

July 9th

Link up your Christmas and Winter themed makes using LeighSBDesigns Art Stamps or any other stamp company products in the Blog Hop Linky Party below for the chance to win a fabulous digi prize from LeighSBDesigns!  Linky closes July 31st at midnight pacific! Click HERE for the details and to link up your project!  My make for today was technically ready yesterday but I was set upon by a whopping migraine that lingers even tonight!  So sadly this poor Poe tag was left setting on the table.
Using inspiration from Lyneen, who gave Poe a summer theme and made him look happy, I brought him to the Christmas in July fun!  The image Ode to Poe is one of Leigh's fabtastic Poe themed digis and the scarf, Santa hat and Christmas tree are from the Very Yeti Christmas Festive Add On set also at LeighSBDesigns!  I ran the tag through an embossing folder and swiped with some white acrylic paint.  Then I embossed the bottom and added some snowflakes with white embossing powder.  Poe and his rocking accessories were colored with Spectrum Noir markers and then embossed with the white powder.  I made the sentiment in a photo editing program and inked with fired brick Distress Ink.  The last bit was some glue and string!  It is so fun to be blog hopping again and the Christmas/Winter theme brings me some chilly thoughts of anything but this summer heat!
P.S. Today is my beloved Daddy's birthday.  I am remembering him with joy and love always!

Off the Edge

I love Anything Goes challenges but I also like themed challenges because often I never think of doing things if I am not prompted!  The Off the Edge theme at Lost Coast Designs Portal to Creativity really caught my attention!  I decided to have a go at it with some lovely pear stamps that I really like!
I have been playing with quiet a few ATC's lately.  As my pear stamps fit this size I went with three of them.  The rubber stamps are Pear Square (Carmen's Veranda) , the words Eternal and Faith
are from a set by Lost Coast Designs but I couldn't find the link and the Trio of Pears was hiding from me also 😢  I stamped  both pear stamps off the edge and then sprayed with some yellow shimmer.  I ran the ATC's through the die cut machine (thanks again, my lovely friend Anne!) and glued patterned paper behind them.  I also used a rubber stamp by Rubber Dance for the word Dream.  I stamped the words in the same green ink and then inked everything with mowed lawn Distress Ink.  I wrapped the ATC's with twine before backing them with cardboard from cereal boxes and popped the words on with foam dots.  I was very satisfied with how these turned out!  They shimmer so nicely!  I am dropping this into Challenge #102 Off the Edge at Lost Coast Designs Portal to Creativity.

Vintage Kitty Love for SUYP Challenge

I was so inspired by Angela at Crafting with Jack during the Summer Buzz Blog Hop!  I love her digital work and though I sadly lack talent in the area I love to have a play with it!
I used this tots adorable image from the Graphics Fairy from her freebie in my weekly email!  The Forget -me-nots frame and sentiment mask are freebies from MeinLilaPark!  The masked area was intended to be a lovely floral heart from this marvelous site but I couldn't get it right.  So I took the mistake and just used it!  This is going straight to the oh, so fabulous Ike's Show Us Your Pussycats Challenge #55 for June!
