October 10th The 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop with LeighSBDesigns!

 I fell in love with this little Batmouse the minute I saw him!  This adorable scary fellow is by the Paper Shelter and comes with an uncolored image, colored image and the amazing background scene!  All you need to help Batmouse get ready for a SPOOKtacular fright night!

I colored him up with Copics and cut with a small border that I colored bright yellow to glow him up!  I used another copy of the image to layer behind him for some thickness.  Then used foam squares to adhere him to the background and glued it to a Kraft cardstock.  All the details and linky party can be found at the 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop presented by LeighSBDesigns on the Inspiration Blog 🎃👻. July The Outlawz Progressive/Freebie Challenge!

July is here and it is so hot outside! Yikes!  The Outlawz Progressive/Freebie Challenge is up and running in the Facebook group!   We are doing some renovating on our site as we go to Blogger for our challenges so stay tuned as we open our doors in August!  The Progressive challenge image for this month is provided by The Paper Shelter and is the Funny Sunflower!  Thanks to The Paper Shelter for this adorable image and sponsoring this month's challenge!

I used the colored version of this cute image and printed two copies.  I fussy cut the first one then fussy cut the butterfly, ladybug and snail to pop on top of the first layer with glue and pop dots for the center of the sunflower!  I edged the image with a black colored pencil and stamped the sentiment (from my stash) in black.  I inked the edges of the both of the background papers with Distress Ink.

May 30th Leigh's Blog Hop!

 Gosh and Gee!  I have been reclaiming my pool after about 5 years and it is whipping me and my good intentions and keeping me from participating as much as I wanted to in the blog hop!  Hopefully when I am able to cool off during what promises to be another hot one down here it will have been worth it!  I grabbed a delightful image from The Paper Shelter, Halloween Rules and used the colored version and the background that was included.  I don't do this very often but I wanted to play these last two days!

I printed both layers out and fussy cut the crow and pumpkin adding some Glossy Accents on the eyes, flame, and tongue!  I also added a touch to the spooky windows on the background layer.  I glued the background layer to some cereal cardboard and popped the top layer on with some foam tape strips.  These guys really believe like we do that Halloween Rules!  This goes into the Cherry Blossom Mer-Ween Blog Hop hosted by LeighSBDesigns!

September 2nd Stay Crafty @Home Blog Hop

This is a 2 month long "Anything Goes" hop that ends September 25th at 11:55pm pacific!  Leigh's blog hops are stress free...you play when you want and how much you want!  All the details are HERE at LeighSBDesigns Inspiration Blog!  The linky party is there, too! 😉  So excited for STAMPtember and beyond excited for LeighSBDesigns SPooktacular new releases for Halloween, 2020!   I found this image all colored up and forgotten :(  so of course I had to get the poor thing all spruced up for a card!  

This is Coffee Break by the Paper Shelter.  I am sad to say this was my only copy as the original was on one of my crashed computers :(  But I was really happy to see this one!  I  just added it to some patterned papers and stamped the sentiment with freebie stamps from a papercrafting magazine (will give the company name in tomorrow's post).  I added some bling on the corner and some Distress Ink on the edges.  We are headed into the most wonderful time of the year.....Fall, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas!  I am giddy with excitement!   Let's all stay safe and play at Leigh's!
